What data Jabburr stores
Last updated May 20, 2026
Jabburr is built on a simple promise: we don't sell your data. Full stop. Here's what that means in practice.
What we store
To make the app work, we keep things like:
- Your account details (name, email/phone, username)
- Content you post, events you create, products you list
- Who you follow and your activity (to build your feed and recommendations)
- Transaction records for tickets and purchases (required for payouts and refunds)
What we never do
- We don't sell your data to advertisers or brokers.
- We don't track you across the web with surveillance-grade tooling.
- We don't build a shadow profile to auction your attention.
Ad targeting on Jabburr uses signals you openly share โ the topics and accounts you follow โ not covert tracking.
Your controls
From Settings โ Privacy you can:
- Review and download your data
- Control who can see your activity
- Manage blocking and muting
- Delete your account and have your data auto-deleted (see Deleting your account)
Why this is the whole point
Most platforms are free because you're the product. Jabburr makes money from the platform itself โ commerce, events, fixed-price ads โ not from harvesting and reselling you. That's the reason it exists.
